Do you have one focus in life? What is it?

Posted February 2, 2017

To be happy!

“I don’t want a perfect life. I want a happy life!”

Learn to “take care of you”! (This is not in a selfish way, but in a way that you can be the most, accomplish the most in an unselfish way!)

NEVER depend on others for “your” happiness!

Find anything that you can enjoy and ENJOY it! – It is the best way to gain greater energy to become stronger and more able to powerfully serve others!

It has been interesting working with different people and understanding how their focus can help them AND hurt them. Our focus could be due to how we were raised, our experiences in life, or what we have been taught, etc.?

Examples:

We may be a person that focuses on “everything is good” and not see the bad that can affect us.

Maybe we may be focusing on money above other things and seeing everything having a certain value, and not connecting it with how our mind puts dollar amounts to it? For example, what dollar value can you put on relationships? IF there is no dollar value on the relationship, then spending $12 on roses might seem too expensive? Even though the value of what it might do for the relationship would be so much more than that!

If you focus on having no value (it might not even be a conscious thought), what would you do to take care of you so that you could have quality living?

IF your focus is in doing for others, and that is what gives you meaning in life, that seems all good, right? But when you give all your time and energy on others, what do you get in return? Feeling good about yourself? Could be—but if you don’t take care of yourself, then there could easily be a time when you can’t do for others!

Have you heard the saying “it’s going to get worse before it gets better”?—If that is a focus, when will it get better?

Fear may not consciously be your focus, but if it is an unconscious focus, can you make rational choices?

New Year—New Opportunities!

Posted January 5, 2017

Dear Friends: I want to encourage each of you to begin this new year with small steps “in the right direction”! Our health is the only asset we have that can affect everything about our lives in ways to help us live a more prosperous life, or less prosperous life. What does prosperous mean? Flourishing, successful in every aspect of life!

If you have your physical, mental and emotional health, you can prosper in every way possible. If you don’t, then life is hard and it becomes a burden, and you can become a burden also, not only to self, but also to others.

Simplicity is the key to success in life! When we take a small step, or change our direction in a small way, it can mean big changes in our lives!

My goal is to help you in these small changes, so you can not only live but prosper!

Moving to back to the farm

Posted June 26, 2016

Moving to back to the farm in April has been interesting, exciting and encouraging.

I moved to town to help with my healing process, to meet more people in the area, and to simply step outside my comfort zone! It was a great experience. I am very thankful for Stephen, for allowing me to rent his building and working with me. While in town, I met a few people who are open to being read by a medical intuitive and they encouraged me to continue my work! (By the way this is not a choice I would have made, but it has been something that I feel was placed on me and it has been life changing!)

Due to learning how to read my body, I have had 6 months of “almost” depression free living. No, I am NOT cured, but because I have always experienced depression, this is a new feeling and it is amazing! I no longer am kept down, not being able to push through, but am able to do things today that I never have been able to do in my life!

My children have come back to the farm excited to see some changes. I am more able to set goals and reach them. Before I could not even make goals! I have enjoyed working in the yard, gardening, making changes in the home and much more!

We just had 25 boys stay with us (detasseling)—this is the first year, I have not felt overwhelmed to the point of crashing. I am encouraged to keep doing what I have been doing—AND I am hoping to be the help to even more people, the same way I have helped myself!

What is intuitive medicine?

Posted June 5, 2016

“A medical intuitive is an alternative medicine practitioner who claims to use their self-described intuitive abilities to find the cause of a physical or emotional condition. Other S-35 terms for such a person include medical clairvoyant, medical psychic, or intuitive counselor.”

A medical intuitive takes the time to test your body and see what energies are lacking from your body.

This form of medicine is still very new and often faces a lot of questions.

2014, June

Viruses—in my world of “listening to the body”, I hear that viruses are made to help us work with energies in our bodies that we can’t work with.

TODAY - June 16, 2014… Two viruses seem to be affecting people.

First one (call it virus #1) feels like it has to do with high energy fungal. The second one (call it virus #2) feels like it has to do with supporting the body to work with the first one.

In all the 14 1/2 years that I have worked with people, this is the first time that I have noticed the power of nature like this. Our bodies are not able to work with this cleansing process of virus #1, which seemed to cause diarrhea and vomiting (these seem to be the worst concerns). In some cases, only reversing the process and stopping it helped people to function, meaning it was not allowed to do it’s work to the fullest.

Virus #2 seems to be supporting the body to work with virus #1 by causing nauseousness and possibly dizziness. This seems to help the body to remove the negative and build positive.

In order to best support the body, supporting the immune system, encouraging water, and liquids usually seemed best.

Ticks, etc.

Posted June 11, 2013

It’s been a LONG time since I have written here, but it feels very important to inform others of the ticks, mosquitoes, and flies & gnats that seem to be invading our environment and homes. With all the rain, the hatch seems to be greater than many years before and the possibility of them affecting us in a negative way may be more likely.

It feels best to have some ammunition—for example, hand soaps, lotions, outside protection to possibly prevent some this. I have heard that customers from Melaleuca have some recipes for mosquito repellents. Young Living has some recipes for soaks, etc. There are home remedies that might help. It feels like this is something that we need to be very aware of.

LIFE HAPPENS!

Posted February 24, 2012

Today is the beginning of the rest of our lives! So how are you going to spend it?

Life happens! Sometimes what our life hands us is lemons - can you make lemonade? If you can’t there is help!

STRESS is caused by:

  • Wrong food
  • Financial burden
  • Relationship problems
  • Clutter
  • Anger
  • Jealousy

Here are some ways to reduce the ‘stress’ that causes life to be TOO BIG!

  • Take care of you!
  • Plenty of rest/sleep
  • The right food “for you”!
  • Exercise that “fits” you!
  • Nutritional support to boost “your” overall energy!
  • Encouragement, appreciation, respect for yourself!
  • Joy in living!

The question is: “What if I can’t seem to find what is for me, so that I can get plenty of rest/sleep, the right food, exercise, nutritional support, encouragement, and joy?” There is help when you learn to allow the body to lead. It is important that you have no thoughts about what is right for you, but completely trust the body to know. ONLY the body knows!!

Gluten Free

Posted April 16, 2011

Here is a statement that was brought to my attention. I am amazed how in our society, there are so many followers and not enough leaders. The “craze” (fad) today is to be gluten free. Is it good? Who knows? Some people feel better—in certain ways, but listen carefully to all the ways they do not feel good and pay attention!

Meanwhile, populations who traditionally eat a gluten-free diet have extremely rare occurrence of schizophrenia—just 2 in 65,000 versus close to 1 in 100 in grain-eating countries. And when populations Westernize their diets, schizophrenia becomes common.—this statement is only looking at one part of that (non western) society. It is not looking at the way we use chemicals, medications for every reason possible, and our diet. I want to say STOP—pay attention to moderation, variation—we don’t have it here. Our whole country is consuming the same thing—even those who are eating a gluten free diet, or those who are vegan. We are still consuming (or being affected by) the same chemicals, drugs, etc.

WAKE UP—Listen to the body. If you eat something that makes you feel good, notice other messages the body is sending you.

MODERATION, VARIATION—HELPS THE BODY HELP ITSELF!

Why Now?

Posted November 29, 2010

WHY NOW? How many times do you have a test about events of the past? History? How many times do we base what we do on what has been done? How many times do we reason that something is good for us or not good for us, due to what we have been taught?

The facts of the past are REAL! The facts of the present are REAL! But what are the facts of the present? Do we know how to work with the energies of today due to what has happened in the past? OR.. is it possible that energies of today have changed what works for us NOW?

Is it important to listen to the body because it knows what it needs according to the energies it has to work with NOW? Or do we “not” listen to the body, and live according to what has been proven that worked, or didn’t work for people in the past?
